CEMS OPENS NEW SOUTH-ASIA REGIONAL OFFICE IN PAKISTAN

30 October 2007, Pakistan - Conference & Exhibitions Management Services Pte Ltd (CEMS), headquartered in Singapore, officially announced the opening of its new South Asia office in Karachi, Pakistan.

CEMS Pakistan will be a full service company to organise and manage a portfolio of events in Pakistan. Working with strategic partners such as Chan Chao International from Taiwan, CTMTC and CMEC from China to import more high profile events here, CEMS is dedicated to further promote Pakistan as a key city for exhibitions in the South Asian region.

Apart of its flagship event, IGATEX Pakistan, CEMS Pakistan will continue to organise Plas-Print-Pack Pakistan, Food+Technology Pakistan and the re-launch of Pakistan International Machine Tools and Metalworking. These series of events are expected to attract substantial foreign investments and will eventually create economic impact in the entire region.

IGATEX - The largest Exhibition of its Kind in the Region

Having developed into one of the largest and well-established garment and textile machinery and accessories exhibitions in South Asia, the very successful IGATEX series have been recognized as a strategic platform for the textile industry and the entire region.

IGATEX Pakistan 2008 is designed to be the ideal one-stop sourcing centre targeting at local and international buyers and is scheduled to take place at Expo Centre Lahore from 22-25 October 2008. The 6th edition of IGATEX Pakistan 2008 will occupy 12,000 sqm gross area and is expected to attract 450 exhibitors and 45,000 trade visitors from 50 countries, making it a vital meeting point for everyone involved in the industry.

Three Symmetrically Beneficial Events

Expanding across five halls of Karachi Expo Centre, Plas-Print-Pack Pakistan, Food+Technology Pakistan and the Pakistan International Machine Tools & Metalworking are three symmetrically beneficial events scheduled to be held simultaneously from 23 – 26 April 2008.

Plas-Print-Pack Pakistan 2008 is a unique networking platform and the only international showcase for key players of the Plastic, Printing and Packaging industry to present and see the latest products, equipment and services covering 8,000 sqm exhibiting space. With 220 projected exhibitors participating, Plas-Print-Pack Pakistan 2008 is expected to capture at least 16,000 trade visitors from all over South Asia region.

Food+Technology Pakistan is a concurrent event providing a rewarding gateway for business professionals from the Food & Beverage Technology industry. This show will feature an extensive range of food processing and technology equipment, ranging from beverages to hospitality products and machinery, trade professionals will get a feast of the latest state-of-the-art technology, specially catered for quality food processing.

Co-locating with these two shows is the Pakistan International Machine Tools & Metalworking 2008, an exhibition focusing on cutting edge machine tools and metalworking technologies. This event serves as a sourcing venue for buyers and tradesmen and is also an interacting platform for launching new products to targeted audience from the Middle East and the entire South Asia.
